Just My Life In Spain

obviously  most of The Venezuelans doesn't know about thanksgiving, Even me, I didn't know the meaning of the Thanksgiving before I started to work with American Families, but by now I know the meaning and all the traditions (I guess). Well today Was my third Thanksgiving, My bosses were very nice to invite me to the celebration today!! In the building live a about 4 or 5 American families so It was a big celebration with A lot of people and kids. I really love my job, my bosses are the nicer and most kind people in the world, and the kids are just adorable, I'm very thankful to be able to do what I love most, I'm Thankful for my supporting Family, and I VERY VERY thankful for my beautiful niece. I hope that You all have a great Thanksgiving!

My dear Emma you turn 9 months old!!!!  You are such a Doll!!!! You has dark brown hair and very dark eyes, I think they are not going to change Your weight is 10,5 kilos, you are such a chubby baby, I want to eat you!!   Now You're eating with spoons, Finally!! Also you are eating AREPAS!! YUMMY YUMMY You are in the 90-95 percentile, you're a healthy baby girl. You are wearing cloths of 12 and even some of 18 months This month you're standing up all by yourself. Also you had your first big fall, You felt when you were standing up in a chair! Thanks god nothing happened to you!!  Also This Month you started to "Dance" you look so cute doing it! Also you makes funnies sounds, and you're always yelling around the house. You are a little spoiled, and wants mommy's phone!! but you are a sweetheart too!! Everybody loves you, everybody said that you are such a good baby, and beautiful.

a Kid on my hip  or  In my Back Well today I was thinking, that for 6 years straight I always had a kid on my hip or my back... I they are no mine.., But I LOVE caring babies or kids, I really do, I'm so happy when I have a someone to carry!! Well today Was a day low key, I didn't did much activities with the kids, because with the boy, I'm out of Ideas, and the girl, well she didn't wanted to do activities, so we played a lot... We played at the farm, at the restaurant, at the house, and well we made just one activity. A thankful turkey...  I'm tired of turkeys jajajaja... I want Christmas, but my little OCD don't let me do it... SO this will be my last week of thanksgiving activities... I think it was worth it, the girl now knows the meaning of thanksgiving, call the turkey as his name, before she said that it was a rooster... also she knows about pilgrims and Native Americans... so It worth it, but I'm tired of turkeys!! 

YEIII, My favorite cousin in here... she lives in Another state, so I just see her twice at year or maybe three... but just for a few days... Well she came because she wanted to buy clothes here, she came yesterday and she leave tomorrow :( We went to a place that here we called TASCA, is a place were you can ask for food, alcohol, but is also a place to dance, kind of a nightclub but not quite... But we spent a great night.

Hello well I was going to post yesterday but my cousins called me, to hang out with them...  Well Yesterday It was a good day... even though that we didn't make all the activities, we play a lot. but here are the Activities. at her School they are working with the letter E, and I working with Fine motor Skills... I was not interesting about she knowing the letter E, but she does, she knows every letter, So I was focus about making little balls with her fingers... At the beginning she told me that she doesn't wanted to do it, and the she didn't know how to do it... but I showed her how it do it and she try and try and try... after 10 min she finally figure it out and she learned how to do little balls with her fingers This Picture shows the clamp, that it was my goal with her. Hello, today I'm feeling so well, not sick at all. I'm so thankful to be healthy now. Yesterday I forgot to show you the activity that I made with the little boy, most of his activities are for the fine motor skills... This one wasn't a hit, he just spent like 10 min doing it, and then he get bored, I don't know if was because I was sick and so is he, or because he really doesn't liked... But well here it is... I just tape to the wall a roll of toilet paper, and I gave him so stuff so they can go through the roll. I think he was most interesting in put the tape back to the wall, than passing the objects thought the roll!  If I forgot to mention, he is 14 months old And today I made my regular activities with kids!! With the boy I worked again with motor fine skills. In a muffin pan I put some rice, black beans and red beans... I gave him 3 spoon, the idea is pass the rice and the beans to one spot to another with the spoon, he did it at

This week have not been the best for me, so I'm on Survival mode on... well actually I just did it today!! What Survival mode on, means? DO whatever the kids wants to do, pick your fights, they want to watch movies all day? so be it... Ok, this week, or well this past 3 days, I really didn't felt well at all. On Monday I had CRAMPS really bad, so I thought that I'll past the day with the kids doing nothing, but I manage to not think about the pain and just take hour by hour... At the end we just watched 1 movie, made 3 activities, and also we went to the park... not that bad, just a normal day. Tuesday... I started feeling sick with the flu, my head and nose were a mess and also I thought about to do nothing for the day... But I felt guilty, so we only watched one movie, went to the park, the girl played alone, and we made 2 of the 3 activities that I bring for that day... BUT today was SURVIVAL MODE ON.... I just want to say I LOVE MY JOB... I'm not tired it's just that we didn't did so much today!! the same activities that I had been doing with the little boy I did it today, and with the girl we finished a project from the last week! Hello my friends... I just want to tell you what I think about all this Christmas stuff on November. Sometimes I think I have a little of OCD, because seen Christmas things in November makes me a little crazy... For me Christmas start the first day of December, then is when I'm in CHRISTMAS mode on, I hear Christmas song, decorate my house, and make activities with the kids. Here In Venezuela all the malls, are in Christmas mode on, the are putting Christmas song, all the trees are all set up, and the stores are starting to decorate for Christmas, Pinterest is all about Christmas things, some blogs all already decorated about it, etc... In my house I will start to decorated for Christmas on December first PERIOD, It's FALL and the Thanksgiving  have not passed yet, so is not Christmas, people. I'm sorry I do not have a nicer and creative tittle. Well I failed in writing here every day, But I think Is not bad at all, At least I'm writing... The main reason that I didn't wrote this two past days was that I got super late from work, and obvious tired, but not for working is for the traffic, it awful and I hate it... I get home at 7:30 pm and then I have to walk my dog, make my dinner, take a shower, and by the time I ended with all that is 9 pm, and I just want to sleep... so that's the main reason why I didn't post here, also I didn't did much this two day with the kids, the girls doesn't wanted to do activities and Friday for me is like a day part of the weekend, so I not push the kids to do activities, I just let them to do what ever they want and that includes two movies or more... Let's start with the sad part... VENEZUELA... OH my dear Venezuela, what we had done to you?? I'll be quick... The news about our wonderful government is: They are forcing all stores in the country to cut the prices of the appliances, because according to them the stores are selling the things almost three times more that the real price, and maybe is true, but they did that because the same government do not gives all the dollars that the stores needs, so the stores has to buy the dollar in the black market, that is like 600% more expensive than the dollar that the government gives... so this week a lot of people are on those stores doing a big line to buy appliances... it's crazy, right now the government are in the malls cheeking out all the stores there, and cut the prices of everything... WHY IS THIS BAD? because nobody will want to invest here, so when all the merchandise sells out, they are not going to brought more to sell it in the price that the government said,

Well today was a good day, long thought!! Usually the girl go to school in the morning and I just spent the morning with the boy!! But the girl wasn't feeling very well today, so she stayed in home! And I didn't expect that... So all scheduled went off and I had to make a new plan... In the morning we just watched TV... TWO MOVIES, just in the morning!, well I accepted because she was "sick", then she wants to watch more movies, but I said no, and we did Two of my three activities that I bring for the day... The last activity I was scared to do it, because it was the first time That I work with them with paint... I work with both kids!! So It was a little stressful, but it worth it. The Idea of put grass as a floor it was of the girl!!  Also I don't know if you all are aware what is going on here!! But I will tell you tomorrow!!

When I kid gives you a Present that they made, is the best of the world!! A least for me... On Monday I went to work and the first thing that the girl told me was "take, I made this for you" And it was a envelope with some draws that she made!! That's makes me very very happy... That is telling me that I'm doing a good job! Also I start this week with my activities for thanksgiving!! We made a Book about the first thanksgiving. It's pretty cool!! You printed the book and then the kid can coloring on it! She Loved it! And of course we made our first turkey of many to come.

Hello My friends!! Well yesterday was so tired to blog!! but here I am! For me Fridays should be a part of the weekends for the kids, So I really don't do much with the kids on Fridays! ... It's the last day of the week and they are tired of the week, so I just let them do what ever they want. And for almost every kid watch TV is the most fun activity, but if you know me you know that I don't like that they watch tv, so is hard for me just let them to do that! Anyways... obvious the baby don't watched much tv, so in the morning we did some activities... I used a Funnel to play... we put the rice into a funnel so it past through the bottle!! also we put some pasta with out the funnel, And I think he really enjoyed it! He only spent 15 minutes doing this, but they learn to much doing this! we are developing theirs motility, (I hope that is the right word) Then in the noon the girl just wanted to be alone, so I let h

  On work!! Every day on the mornings I stay alone with my little guy!! Today I made a little game to him!! He loved, he spend like 20 minutes doing this...  It just pass rice from a cup to another!  Then at noon my girl came home, and we have lunch and we always made a little project! Today I wanted to see if she can cut on the edge!! And she did it!! She cut some bunny ears.  Also we are working on the letter A And then we have a quite time  !

  Hello, well today was my second day working!! We didn't did a lot today!! We just play with some toys, and went to the park!! Here is raining every day! So the park had a lot of mud, But I think that kids really enjoyed it the time there. A love the Sky before and after rain!! Also today I made my first activity with the little Girl!! She is very smart, But I have to reinforce some things! Overall it was a good day!

Today was my first day with the new kids!! They are ADORABLE, the baby boy is a sweetheart and easy going baby!! and the little girls Is Funny, smart and sweet!!! It has a long day, but I didn't felt it like that... The time passed super fast there... and This is the reason...We play but also they both Sleep for an Hour in the afternoon!  Today Was a rainy day so, we couldn't be able to go to the park!!
