Les't Talk about Venezuela

As A Venezuelan is my duty to let people know what is actually happening in my Country.

Has been 4 days of protests, where students are the main characters, where they are the ones who are fighting for ours rights, and I honestly feel embarrassed to not be present at these protests, and I'm fear, fear for my life , so even that I'm not in there in person I feels is  my DUTY protest, let you know what is happening and that's why this post.

I have a little over 15 days to leave my country to seek a better future, a country where it guarantees me my life, where I can have access to food, house, car, travel, etc., but let ALL of my family here, and it hurts my soul to leave them and not to be able to take them all, but I hope this step I am taking it, help the future of my entire family, sometimes I feel like treacherous for the fact of leaving my country and not fight for what I believe and what I want, but honestly, this regime will not go that easy, we are here to dictatorship, not openly, but I BELIEVE we are fervently dictatorship and now I explain why.



Since February 12 the student expressed , and Venezuelans have had to resort to social networks like twitter and Facebook, to know what is really happening, as national channels were not transmitting nothing of the protests, a Colombian channel that you can see thanks to television paid, was the only one that was broadcasting the news, and the government sack the cable operators , they cut off the right to tell ... That day died 3 persons, 2 students and 1 individuals was attacking the students , and we could find out about the deaths thanks to social networks , because the President was giving a speech, and all national channels has obligation it had to transmit , so while students were fighting and dying for a better Venezuela , the president was at a party celebrating, and not letting the media inform the country on what was happening in the streets.


What give me more angry, is that those who are supposed to be protecting us are the ones who are causing all the chaos, the police and the National Guard are those who are fighting against the students, throwing them tear gas, pellets and even shots, students only have to defend sticks, stones and vinegar.



Also are the people who are with the government, are men on motorcycles ARMED leveraging the night to attack the students, and the police instead of protecting the student, protects the armed person, or worse joins to the armed peoples.



By now the students and some civilians are gathering in "safe" places and leaving early protests. Do not know how long it will continue this, do not know how it will end, not if you really are getting somewhere with this, but I admire, I admire people who come together and fight, they are not afraid, and are there day after day.

 Como Venezolana es mi deber hacer saber a las personas lo que en realidad esta pasando en mi Pais.

Han pasado 4 dias de protestas, donde los estudiantes son los principales protagonistas, donde ellos son los que estan luchando por nuestros derecho, y yo sinceramente me siento avergonzada de no estar presente en esas protestas, y no voy por miedo, miedo por mi vida, asi que ya que no no estoy en cuerpo presente en las protesta es mi DEBER, hacerles saber que esta pasando y por eso este post.

Me quedan un poco mas de 15 dias para irme de mi pais, para buscar un mejor futuro, un pais donde se me garantice mi vida, donde pueda tener acceso a comida, casa, carro, viajes, etc, pero dejo a TODA mi familia aqui, y me DUELE en el alma dejarlos y no poder ser capaz de llevarmelos a todos, pero espero que este paso que yo estoy tomando pueda ayudar al futuro de mi familia entera, aveces me siento como traicionaera el hecho de dejar a mi pais y no luchar por lo que creo y por lo que quiero, pero honestamente, este regimen no va a salir asi de facil, aqui estamos en dictadura, no abiertamente, pero si CREO fervientemente que estamos en dictadura y ahora les explico el porque.

desde el 12 de Febrero los estudiante han manifestado, y los Venezolanos hemos tenido que recurrir a las redes sociales, como twitter, y Facebook, para enterarnos que es lo que en realidad esta pasando, ya que los canales nacionales no estaban transmitiendo NADA de las protestas, Un canal Colombiano que se puede ver gracias al la television pagada, era el unico que estaba transmitiendo las noticias, y el gobierno lo saco de las cableoperadoras, es decir nos cercenó el derecho de informarnos... Ese dia 12 de febrero murieron 3 personas, 2 estudiantes y 1 personas que estaba atacand a los estudiantes, y nos pudimos enterar de las muertes gracias a las redes sociales, porque el presidente estaba dando un discurso y todos los canales nacionales por obligacion lo tenian que transmitir, asi que mientras los estudiantes estaban luchando y muriendo por una mejor Venezuela, el presidente estaba en una fiesta celebrando y no dejando que los medios de comunicacion informaran al pais de lo que estaba pasando en las calles.

Lo que me das mas rabia, es que, los que se suponen nos deben proteger son los que estan causando todo el caos, La policia y la guardia Nacional son los que estan peleando con los estudiantes, lanzandoles bombas lacrimogenas, perdigones y hasta disparos, los estudiantes para defenderse solo tienen palos, piedras y vinagre.

Tambien estan las personas que estan con el gobierno, son hombre en motocicletas ARMADOS, que aprovechan la noche para atacar a los estudiantes, y la policia en vez de proteger al estudiante, protege a la persona armada, o peor se UNÉ  a la persona armada.

Por ahora los estudiantes y algunos civiles se estan reuniendo en lugares "seguros" y yendose temprano de las protestas. No se cuanto tiempo va a seguir esto, no se como va a terminar, no se si de verdad se está logrando algo con todo esto, pero los admiro, admiro  a las personas que se unen y luchan, que no tienen miedo y que estan ahi dia tras dia.
